I have worked closely with Ignacio for two years and in that short time he has proven to be an exceptional consultant who combines technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and the utmost integrity. Ignacio joined us at a critical time in our agency’s growth: we had just become an FQHC and were planning for a new facility and a major expansion in operations. Ignacio fully understands the FQHC business model and has provided us with accurate and strategic financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, capital investment planning, billing oversight, and contract negotiation. He is extremely knowledgeable about HRSA regulations and FQHC requirements and has developed successful budgets for a Service Area Competition proposal; Change in Scope; and Budget Period Review. Ignacio has also helped us analyze lines of business to ensure our operations are sustainable, including our growing behavioral health department, group medical visits, expanded home visit program, complementary medicine, expanded primary care and other services.
Another helpful aspect of his consulting business is the many professional contacts Ignacio can access for additional specialized help if it is needed. For us this included an exceptional headhunter who recruited our new medical and operations directors, and a revenue cycle expert who completed a billing analysis for us and is leading our ICD10 implementation.
